On January 30, Zhou Bin, Party Secretary of the CPC Yancheng Municipal Committee, visited Faurecia (Yancheng) Automotive Component Systems Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Yueda Textile Group Co., Ltd. for a field trip. He congratulated both companies on simultaneously being selected as global “Lighthouse Factories”, achieving a breakthrough for Yancheng by having its first “Lighthouse Factories.” Faurecia’s Yancheng plant has just become the world’s first “Lighthouse Factory” in the automotive seating sector. Zhou Bin inspected the factory’s production workshops, observed the operation of automated production lines, and gained detailed understanding of product processes, technological R&D, and market layout. He commended the company for using the establishment of a “Lighthouse Factory” as an opportunity to accelerate the integration of artificial intelligence, smart logistics, and advanced equipment, continuously improving production efficiency and intelligent manufacturing levels. Zhou Bin pointed out that “Lighthouse Factories” represent the highest standards of intelligence and digitalization in global manufacturing today. Upon learning that since 2023, the company has deeply integrated advanced technologies and digital equipment to build a 100,000-spindle green intelligent factory, becoming a model benchmark for industry transformation, Zhou Bin affirmed Yueda Textile’s persistence in intelligent transformation, digital upgrading, and network connectivity, which has explored a new path for quality improvement and efficiency enhancement in the traditional textile industry.
